The cooperation area of the Italy-Tunisia ENI CBC Programme 2014-2020 spans the regions on both sides of the maritime route between Sicily and Tunisia. The programme aims to improve the areas of business, education and research, technology and environment in the regions concerned. Thanks to cooperation between Italy and Tunisia within this programme, relevant issues in the regions concerned such as urbanisation, employment, economy, environment, health, tourism, transport and local governance will be addressed.
The programme aims to achieve the above focusing on three themes:
- Business and SME development
- Support to education, research, technological development and innovation
- Environment protection, climate change mitigation and adaptation
