TESIM is a technical assistance project funded by the EU and implemented by a consortium led by Particip. TESIM has no legal status/ entity and Particip remains accountable for legal aspects of the personal data protection. The Privacy policy of Particip GmbH has been recently updated in order to be fully compliant with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Here below you can read the Privacy Policy of TESIM largely inspired by the Privacy policy of Particip GmbH though amended in some of the sections (among others also the ‘Data processing’ and ‘Use and disclosure of the personal data’ sections) so that it reflects the type of data collected and the ‘what/how/why data are collected’ sections. The entire paragraph on ‘Analytics’ has been substituted by the section ‘Website analytics’ which is the one used for the TESIM website.
Data Protection
TESIM takes the protection of your personal data very seriously and strictly observes the regulations of the data protection legislation. Personal data are details of personal or material circumstances of an identified or identifiable individual. These include information such as your name, address, telephone number.
Information that is not directly linked to your actual identity (e.g. favourite webpages or number of users of a site) is not personal data. Under no circumstances are the collected data sold or passed on to third parties for other reasons. The declaration below gives you an overview of how we guarantee this protection and what sort of data are collected for what purpose.
Data processing on this website
TESIM automatically collects and stores information transmitted to us by your browser in its server log files. The kind of information collected per communication tool includes the following:

TESIM cannot attribute these data to specific individuals. These data are not amalgamated with other data sources. Furthermore, the data are deleted after statistical analysis. Additional personal details such as your name, address, telephone number or e-mail address are not collected unless these details are volunteered by you, e.g. as part of a registration, survey, competition, execution of an agreement or request for information.
Use and disclosure of the personal data
We use the personal data made available by you exclusively for the purpose of technical administration of the webpages and to fulfil your wishes and requirements, i.e. to respond to your query. Your personal data is not passed on, sold or otherwise transmitted to third parties unless this is necessary for the purposes of executing an agreement or you have expressly consented to such activities.
To improve your experience on our site, we may use ‘cookies’. Cookies are an industry standard and most major web sites use them. Particip GmbH makes us of social media. The protection of your data is very important to us, therefore we don’t integrate any social media plugins. Website analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics, a service which transmits website traffic data to Google servers in the United States.
