Time to register to the #EURegionsWeek!

Get ready to exchange new ideas, meet regions and cities and expand your network. No more “zooming”: for the first time in three years, the event will be exclusively physical. So, secure now your seat at the different activities the ENI CBC/Interreg NEXT community is proposing.

On 10 October at 12:30 we invite you to the Agora 2 at the SQUARE Brussels Meeting Centre, to join the DG REGIO/TESIM talk  “Building skills for new green jobs in cooperation with partner countries”. In a global market, cooperation on skills is one of the solutions to avoid brain drain and to maintain equal knowledge across the borders. To celebrate the European Year of Skills, a 15’ allocution will take you on an ideal journey through the EU external borders, showing how different ENI CBC/Interreg NEXT projects strive to equip people for new green jobs.  Reserve your place!

Then, if you are curious to know how three Finnish ENI CBC programmes have successfully joined forces in various tasks, do register to the workshop “Let’s talk about cross-programme cooperation which will take place on 12 October at 11:30 to 12:30 (room 213-215). The representatives of the programmes will explain how they have successfully teamed for joint events, procurement and capitalization activities. And through the words of different stakeholders, you will hear how this very special cooperation has supported beneficiaries and boosted programme implementation.

And finally, do not forget to visit the Interact/TESIM/CBIB+ exhibition “Cooperation beyond the EU”, from Tuesday to Thursday at the Agora village! Interreg programmes help to connect people, ideas and innovation across borders both within the EU and with neighbours. Three different approaches – IPA in the Western Balkans; NEXT in the European neighbourhood, including Ukraine and Moldova; and the Outermost Regions – have one special feature in common: they are helping to share the benefits of cooperation across external EU borders. This exhibit is part of a joint Interreg stand, coordinated by Interact.
