3rd Financial Network Meeting of ENI CBC Programmes

Building on the positive experience of the previous network meetings, TESIM organised the financial network meeting of the ENI CBC programmes in Minsk (Belarus) on 8-9 October. More than 40 practitioners mainly from the MAs and the JTSs actively engaged in the discussion and shared the experience.

This meeting focused on the current financial challenges, such as expenditure verification, progress report checks by the MAs/JTSs as well annual financial reporting. In addition, specific issues related to use of simplified costs in micro-projects, managing sub-grant schemes and implementing Large Infrastructure Projects were discussed.

Specific attention was put on the potential simplification in the annual financial reporting in order to improve the information exchange between the programmes and the European Commission.
